The First Meeting on Polymeric Wave Energy Harvesting will be held at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna on December 10, 2013, starting at 14:30 in room ‘AULA 3’. You may find the meeting programme here.
This is an open workshop organised in the framework of the project PolyWEC – New mechanisms and concepts for exploiting electroactive polymers for wave energy conversion, an FP7 collaborative project, funded in the FET Energy theme, and co-ordinated by the PERCRO Laboratory of TeCIP Institute of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna.
The workshop will include several presentations to illustrate the current research topics on wave energy harvesting based on electroactive polymers. The PolyWEC project approach and activities will be also presented, and Italian experiences on wave energy conversion will be introduced. The PolyWEC Project Officer of the European Commission will attend the workshop and give a talk about the future opportunities in Horizon 2020.
Participation to the meeting is free, but for organisational reasons, if you intend to participate please just send an email to email@example.com.
